Applicant Terms & Conditions

 

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your application for any role (“Vacancy”) managed or advertised by Foreground Recruitment Consultancy (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting your CV, completing an application, or attending an interview, you agree to these Terms. We may update them periodically and will publish the latest version on our website.

 

2. Application Process

You confirm that all details you provide are true and complete. We process applications through a structured recruitment process: screening, interview(s), and offer (if applicable). Feedback will be provided where possible.

 

3. Eligibility & Compliance

You must be legally eligible to work in the jurisdiction of the Vacancy (e.g., UK, UAE, Lebanon). We operate on a strict non-discrimination basis and comply with all applicable employment and data laws. You consent to verification of your credentials and agree to update us if your circumstances change.

 

4. Data Protection

Your personal data will be handled under applicable privacy laws (e.g., UK GDPR, UAE data law). Information may be shared only with relevant hiring managers or clients for recruitment purposes. We may retain your profile for future roles unless you request removal.

 

5. Representation & Fees

Our services are provided to clients at no cost to applicants. You agree not to contact clients directly regarding roles we introduce, unless authorized in writing.

 

6. Offers & Process Termination

Any job offer from a client is subject to contract and formal checks. The recruitment process may be ended by us or the client at any time without liability. You must inform us of any changes affecting your eligibility or start date.

 

7. Conduct & Integrity

You must act in good faith, respond promptly, and provide accurate information. We may withdraw your application or a client’s offer if any falsification or omission is discovered.

 

8. Use of Materials

Documents you provide (CV, forms, assessments) become part of our records. You grant us permission to share your details with clients for relevant roles, but we will not use your information for marketing without consent.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

We aim to assist professionally but cannot guarantee employment, feedback, or engagement by a client. We accept no liability for losses arising from the recruitment process or its outcome, except as required by law.

 

10. Confidentiality

You acknowledge that during the recruitment process you may access confidential information belonging to Foreground or its clients, including client identities, role details, compensation data, and internal processes. You agree to treat all such information as strictly confidential and use it only for your application.

You must not approach or contact clients directly without written authorization. Unauthorized disclosure or misuse of information may cause serious harm and may result in legal action. These obligations continue indefinitely, even after the process concludes, regardless of whether you accept a position.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.

 

12. Amendments & Waivers

No amendment is valid unless in writing by us. Failure to enforce any right once does not waive future enforcement.
